Miguel is an SAG-Aftra/AEA actor and theatre director, based in Los Angeles.
After trying his luck with graphic design, sound engineering, T.V and Film production and a very short but intense rock vocalist career, he began his formal training as an actor in the late 90’s in Caracas, Venezuela. After migrating back to the USA in 2001, he continued to deepen his knowledge with years of training in the Meisner technique and Viewpoints.
He’s the Winner of “Best Actor at the 16th Indie Gathering International Film Festival” for his lead role as Gustavo on “Lady of The Dead”. He has also been Nominated for “Best Actor in a Comedy Short Film” at 2018 Coachella Official Latino Film and Arts Festival for his role as Victor Junco in the award winning “Una Mujer Sin Precio (1961)” and for “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Play” at the 2021-2022 16th Annual Colorado Theatre Guild Henry Awards for his role as Roberto in “Guadalupe in The Guest Room” at Colorado Springs Art Center. He has been a guest star in NBC’s Chicago Med and a co star on Showtimes’s The Chi and Hulu’s This Fool. He is represented by Aqua Talent for Theatrical work, Daniel Hoff for Commercial and managed by Top Ten Talent.
When not on stage, Miguel loves to listen to rock, read thick books, collect Vinyls, watch foreign films and cook food that could make him the next Top Chef.
